WHITE PLAINS—Richard Haggerty, CEO of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, Inc. (HGAR) and President and Chief Strategic Growth Officer of OneKey MLS, has been selected to participate in RISMedia’s prestigious 2022 CEO & Leadership Exchange in Washington, D.C.
The renowned educational and networking event—scheduled for Sept. 6-8—brings together the residential real estate industry’s top minds to share insights for staying competitive and profitable in a changing world.
The event, now in its 34th year, will include some 25 presentations and panel discussions featuring more than 120 industry leaders on topics ranging from the future state of the MLS, emerging technologies and evolving real estate models, to affordability, rising interest rates, politics and the global state of real estate.
“I’m thrilled to join such a dynamic group of real estate professionals and share strategies to strengthen our industry as we move forward and navigate a changing landscape,” said Haggerty, who was instrumental in creating OneKey MLS, the New York metro area’s first regional multiple listing service, with the Long Island Board of Realtors.
He added, “Now, more than ever, we must work together to meet new challenges, continue to raise the bar and advance our industry to benefit of our customers and colleagues.”
Haggerty will be featured in a discussion on “The MLS/Brokerage Relationship: Is there a Better Way?” to be moderated by Dan Forsman, Chairman, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties. The panel includes Merri Jo Cowen, CEO, Stellar MLS; Jeremy Crawford, President and CEO, First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS); Rebecca Jensen, President and CEO, Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED); and Cindy Ariosa, Senior Vice President, Long and Foster Real Estate.
The panel will discuss forces redefining the industry landscape, including portal threats and commission wars, and the need for MLS and brokerage leaders to collaborate for the betterment of agents, consumers and the industry.
RISMedia, a leader in U.S. real estate news and information services, will celebrate and honor its 2022 Real Estate Newsmakers and Hall of Fame inductees during the Newsmakers Reception & Dinner on Sept. 7. In this year’s Newsmakers, Haggerty was named a “motivator” by RISMedia and listed among “those who inspire.”
RISMedia announced its 300-plus, 2022 Real Estate Newsmakers on Feb. 8, in both an online directory on RISMedia.com and in the February edition of its flagship publication, Real Estate magazine.
