Considering the recent increase in the Delta variant of COVID cases, the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® will hold its 105th Annual Member Appreciation Day as a LIVE event on Monday, October 25, but with precautions.
The HGAR Board of Directors will be considering a measure that would require ALL participants to show proof of a COVID vaccine or negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel and Conference Center in Tarrytown. (formerly the DoubleTree Hotel). HGAR staff will be stationed at the entrances to check for either of these two items, and no one will be admitted without either of these documents.
“Our goal is to the ensure the safety of all of our Realtor and Affiliate members, as well as our trade show exhibitors and staff members,” said Richard Haggerty, HGAR CEO. “We are also recommending wearing masks for additional safety.”
Last year, for the first time in the Association’s history, the annual event was held virtually, due to the pandemic.
This year’s keynote speaker will be national speaker Dennis Giannetti, the “Ninja Selling Instructor,” with the theme will be “Find Your Fight.” Members Day will also feature an Ethics Class, various breakout sessions, a plated RPAC luncheon, a trade show with 50 exhibitors, the Annual Meeting, and a Celebration Cocktail Party.
