J. Philip Real Estate, announced earlier this month that the company has named Jennifer Maher as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In this newly created role, she will oversee company-wide training, growth, and agent retention. Maher will continue to fulfill her obligations as Managing Broker and Partner of J. Philip Commercial Group and J. Philip Real Estate (Putnam County).
“Jenn joined our firm in 2013 and took advantage of the upward mobility available to productive leaders,” said J. Philip Faranda, founder & CEO, J. Philip Real Estate. “She has been a crucial factor in our growth from a small office with under 30 people to three offices and close to 100 associates… I am grateful for her sage counsel and unconditional friendship,” added Faranda.
A long-time Putnam County resident and New York City native, Maher’s real estate career has spanned more than two decades. Prior to J. Philip, Maher was a Productivity Coach at Keller Williams Realty of White Plains and CEO/Team Leader for Keller Williams Realty of Scarsdale. She also ran her own real estate business, Incline Real Property in Putnam County.
Helping the company and agents adapt to the post-COVID real estate market is among Maher’s priorities as the new COO. “My vision is to be the real estate company of choice for all agents in the Hudson Valley region,” said Maher. “Starting with improved company-wide training and a work-smart supportive team culture, my goal is to gain market share across Westchester and Putnam by 20% before the end of 2020.”
J. Philip Real Estate currently maintains offices in the Pelham and Briarcliff areas of Westchester County, NY, as well as an office in Mahopac, in Putnam County, which includes J. Philip Commercial Group. The organization consists of more than 80 licensees.
