As part of the Big Brothers program, he serves as a mentor and sits on the board of trustees, playing a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s marketing and development efforts. His dedication to mentorship is also highlighted by his founding of the National Latino Coalition Conference (NLCC), the largest Latino-focused conference in the country, where he leads educational initiatives targeting the Hispanic community.
Additionally, his commitment to cultural promotion is showcased by his significant role in organizing the inaugural Puerto Rican parade in White Plains, which will be celebrated for the first time this year. He also holds a position on the board of the White Plains Puerto Rican Society, further emphasizing his commitment to enhancing and celebrating cultural diversity in the community.
Maymi’s previous roles include serving as the president of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) in Westchester and as a director on its education board, underscoring his dedication to improving industry standards and empowering Hispanic professionals.
