Debbra McAllister has been named a vice president of the nonprofit NYC Housing Partnership Development Corporation. She joins the Housing Partnership from the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services where she served as Director of Acquisitions.
During 18 years at NYCDCAS, McAllister completed more than $200 million in real property acquisition transactions and negotiated a half million square feet of commercial leases on behalf of city agencies. Prior to NYCDCAS, McAllister served in the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) from 1987 through 2005, including the position of Director of Special Incentive Programs, administering affordable housing programs including the 421-a Affordable Housing Program and the Inclusionary Housing Program. In that role she managed the development of more than 100 affordable housing projects, which created thousands of units of affordable housing in New York City.
