NEW YORK—Founders of a new brokerage—Connect R.E. Corp.—will officially cut the ribbon at the recently launched firm at 38 Westchester Square in the Bronx on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. to be followed later in the day with a gala celebration with the brokerage decorated as a speakeasy.
The office is located on the second floor of the building above the offices of Bank of America. Connect RE Corp. is founded by four well-known Bronx professionals: Broker-Owner Bryant Mero and agents: Veronica Suarez, Aileen Yambo and Jose Hernandez.
Suarez tells Real Estate In-Depth that the firm is “built by agents, for agents. Our mission is to provide real estate professionals with the mentorship, tools, and culture they need to thrive.”
She added that Connect RE Corp.’s 2,000-square-foot office will serve as a hub for collaboration, growth and innovation. The principals of the brokerage will also highlight the nonprofit organization, The R.E.A.L Project (Real Estate Professionals Empowering All Lives), which focuses on giving back to the real estate community through education and empowerment.
With more than 18 years of experience in the real estate industry, Mero has established himself as a leader and mentor in the field. The Broker and co-founder of Connect RE Corp. is the company’s lead coach and provides weekly training and specialized coaching to ensure agents excel in their roles. Previously, he served as a Productivity Coach at Keller Williams and was recognized as the number one agent at EXIT Realty Search, earning a place among the Top 100 EXIT Realty Corp. national agents for four consecutive years.
Suarez, a Bronx native, brings more than 19 years of experience in the real estate industry. Licensed in both New York and Connecticut, she serves a diverse range of clients across New York's five boroughs, as well as Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange and Dutchess counties. Fluent in Spanish, she is known for her expertise in short sales and negotiations and has guided countless homeowners toward financial relief and a fresh start.
The 2020 and 2021 President of NAHREP Westchester also has a deep-rooted passion for community empowerment. After five impactful years at a nonprofit organization—where she played a pivotal role in its success—she launched her own 501(c)(3) nonprofit The R.E.A.L Project two years ago. The organization shares information, educates, and develops the community at large utilizing real estate resources for guidance, promotion and empowerment of diverse backgrounds in order to be philanthropic and assist in building financial freedom.
Yambo has been in the real estate industry for more than 19 years, serving clients across New York and Connecticut. Specializing in first-time buyers and sellers, she has earned a reputation as an expert known for her strategic negotiation skills, innovative marketing strategies and deep local market expertise. Her commitment to community extends further through her work on the boards of organizations like BNI and NAHREP and as co-founder of The R.E.A.L Project.
Hernandez, an enthusiastic real estate agent, has a background in law enforcement and business and combines his skills in negotiation, market analysis and client relations to provide exceptional service.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m., followed by a grand opening celebration that will begin at 5 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. The event will feature food, drinks and music.
