ALBANY—The New York State Association of Realtors installed its 2025 leadership team headed by 2025 President Jacqlene Rose, CIPS, GRI, RSPS, SRS, C2EX, AHWD, on Feb. 3 at a gala event held at the Desmond Hotel here.
HGAR’s Ron Garafalo will serve as 2025 NYSAR President-elect, while Dan Stanley will be Treasurer and Joe Rivellino is Past President.
A Realtor for more than three decades, Rose is an associate real estate broker for Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties in Sidney. She is also the Sidney branch office manager. Rose was president of the Otsego-Delaware Board of Realtors in 2012 and 2013 and was the board’s Realtor of the Year in 1996, 2007 and most recently in 2021. At the state level, Rose served as the 2015-2016 NYSAR Regional Vice President for the Southern Tier Region and was the NYSAR Housing Opportunities Foundation president in 2010. She was also the 2014 recipient of the NYSAR Community Service Award. For the National Association of Realtors, she has served on the Housing Opportunities Committee, Multiple Issues and Policies Committee and has been an RPAC Participation Council member.
Garafalo, a Realtor since 2000, is an associate broker and sales manager at John J. Lease Realtors in Middletown. Garafalo was the president of the Orange County Association of Realtors in 2011 and the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors in 2019. He has served on the HGAR Board of Directors and was honored as HGAR’s Realtor of the Year in 2021. Locally, he has served on and chaired many committees, including RPAC, Fair Housing, and Education.
On a state level, Garafalo is a 2022 graduate of NYSAR’s Leadership Academy and has been a NYSAR Director for more than a decade. He is a staunch supporter of Realtor advocacy and has attended numerous NYSAR Lobby Days in Albany. Garafalo also serves as a director for the National Association of Realtors.
Additionally, Garafalo is a real estate instructor and has taught thousands of agents over the years; most passionately about teaching the Code of Ethics.
A Realtor for nearly 30 years, Staley is an associate broker for Staley Real Estate in Rhinebeck. In 1996, he entered his family’s real estate business, which his grandfather founded in 1949, and became an Associate Broker in 2000. Staley served as the Dutchess County Board of Realtors President in 2020 and 2021. He is a 2022 graduate of NYSAR’s Leadership Academy and chairs NYSAR’s Budget & Finance Committee and Investment Committee and is Vice Chair for NYSAR’s Statewide Forms Committee.
Staley was elected to the Rhinebeck Town Board in 2008 and has served as a National Association of Realtors Federal Political Coordinator, working with U.S. Congressmen Antonio Delgado and Pat Ryan since 2019.
2025 Immediate Past President Rivellino is the broker/owner of Rivellino Realty in Warsaw. Rivellino was president of the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors in 2015 and was the association’s Realtor of the Year in 2023. He was previously honored as Realtor of the Year for the Genesee Valley Board of Realtors in 2009 and was GVBR’s association president for 3 terms. Rivellino has been actively involved at the local, state, and national level, serving as a director for the National Association of Realtors in 2015 and as a NYSAR Regional Vice President from 2019–2020. He has served and chaired numerous state committees, including serving on the NYSAR Executive Committee, Real Estate Services Committee, Investment Committee, Organizational Planning, and Budget and Finance Committee.
