NEW ROCHELLE—Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic Inc. has signed a lease to occupy the entire ground level of the Lockwood Medical Campus here.
Rand Commercial, the exclusive leasing agent for the 100,000-square-foot Lockwood Medical Campus at 150 Lockwood Ave., reported that Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic has signed a long-term lease for more than 5,600 square feet and will relocate from its current North Avenue location in the spring of 2021.
The Rand Commercial team of Debbie Binstok, John Ritchie and Ann K. Silver represented the landlord Eldad Levy. Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic was represented by Howard Greenberg, president of Howard Properties.
“We are especially delighted to welcome such an important tenant as Planned Parenthood because they mean so much to the community in New Rochelle, and to our campus tenant mix,” said Levy.
The Lockwood Medical Campus consists of four buildings located one block from Montefiore Hospital of New Rochelle and is home to primary care physicians, specialty practices, labs and pharmacies.
Back in late February, Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic announced the sale of its property at 247-249 North Ave. in New Rochelle. PPHP has been providing high-quality reproductive health care to the New Rochelle community since the 1930’s and remains committed to continuing those services for many years to come. Planned Parenthood said at the time it expected to continue operations at the North Avenue facility for the next 12 to 18 months.
“PPHP is committed to providing our patients the same high-quality health care services they expect from us. Our new health center will allow us to increase and expand our capacity to provide these services to the people of New Rochelle and the surrounding area,” said Vincent Russell, President & CEO, Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic when he announced the property sale transaction.
No financial details of the sale were reported.
In 2019, PPHP provided health care services to 4,171 individuals in its New Rochelle health center through 7,584 visits. Some of the services available at PPHP’s New Rochelle health center include birth control, gynecological exams, prenatal care, HIV testing and counseling, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, abortion care, gender affirming care and more.
