HGAR President Anthony Domathoti presented the President’s Report, highlighting the upcoming LAP graduation, the recent successful DEI Summit, and upcoming reports from the NYC and Communication PAGs.
CEO Richard Haggerty then presented the CEO’s Report, addressing the upcoming Board of Director positions that would be expiring and indicated that further information will be sent via email in the near future.
CEO Haggerty presented the Treasurer’s Report as of June 1, 2022, a copy of which was provided to the Directors. After review and discussion, the Directors approved the receipt of the Treasurer’s Report, and it was filed for audit.
CEO Haggerty presented an update on discussions being conducted between HGAR and LIBOR relating to language relating to the OneKey MLS Nominating process for the OneKey MLS Board of Managers.
HGAR In-House Legal Counsel Brian Levine presented an Ethics Decision to the Board of Directors, designated as 293-E, a copy of which had been provided to the Directors prior to the meeting. After review and discussion of the Ethics Decision, the Directors approved a motion confirming the Decision and the Recommendations of the Hearing Panel.
President Domathoti provided a report on the recent DEI Summit, which took place on June 13th and June 14th, 2022, noting that both days were sold out (over 200+ registered) and the event involved the participation of six other Associations, namely NAR, NYSAR, New Jersey Realtors, Greater Bergen Association of Realtors, Greater Rochester Association of Realtors and the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors. It was noted that a survey on the event will soon be circulated.
RPAC Co-Chair, Ron Garafalo, reported on recent activity, including a deposit being made on the upcoming August Manhattan boat cruise and pricing for the event. He further reported on the upcoming Member’s Day luncheon, which will have Charlie Oppler as speaker.
CID Committee Chair, John Barrett, reported on its most recent meeting wherein discussions were held relating to future goals, structure and planning of programs, as well as strategies to target more commercial players and expansion.
Global Business Council Committee Co-Chair Tony D’Anzica, reported on the upcoming first trade mission to Portugal, which will be from June 26th through July 1st, 2022, as well as the next Global Summit, slated to take place on October 20, 2022.
Regional Director of Government Affairs/Liaison of the Bronx Chapter Eliezer Rodriguez provided an update on the Bronx Chapter golf outing.
Hudson Gateway Foundation Chair Gail Fattizzi provided an update regarding recent HG Realtor Foundation activity, noting that nearly $80,000 has been raised so far this year, with an upcoming event being held on June 21, 2022.
Fair Housing Committee Chair, Barry Kramer reported on the upcoming June 29, 2022 event taking place at the White Plains Library.
